We have officially reached mid-January 2021! It feels strange no longer being in 2020, the year where the world turned upside down. But, now that we’ve reached this new mile marker, our team here at Project Millennium, Inc. is eager to start working on our goals. Before we give them the go-ahead, we wanted to provide them and you with a few tips on maintaining your momentum as the year progresses. Setting a goal is easy. Putting in the work to achieve it is the difficult part. Failure is inevitable. Whether you succeed or succumb to these setbacks is dependent on your choices. Do you stay down, or do you rise?

Weigh now against later

Time and again, we give ourselves excuses as to why we aren’t putting in the work to hit our goals. Our favorite is “I’ll do it later.” We may only be a few weeks into the year, but time moves quickly. Before you know it, we’ll be wrapping up 2021 and asking ourselves why we stayed complacent for the past twelve months. Take stock of the time you have, and don’t sit around waiting for success to come to you.

Surround yourself with success

You are who you spend your time with. We drill this into the heads of every individual that works with us. If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, you need to spend your time with successful entrepreneurs.

Nothing will kill your drive quicker than doubt.

Stop fear in its tracks by surrounding yourself with people who will motivate, uplift, and encourage you. Success is a team sport. Utilize your team and mentors throughout your journey this year. When you hit setbacks, it will be them you turn to for guidance!

Visualize success

It’s challenging to show up every day at your best. There will be times when you want to give up. When that happens, take a moment and visualize that you have succeeded. Envision how it will feel to cross the finish line knowing that it was your efforts that brought you there. Being mentally tough will be the fuel that pushes you when the going gets rough. Remember, if being successful was easy, everyone would do it.

So far, 2021 has been an excellent year. Our team here at Project Millennium, Inc. has solidified our goals and prepared ourselves for what’s to come. Meaning, we’ve gotten mentally ready for anything. If the past twelve months taught us anything, it was that to excel, we have to be resilient, optimistic, and down for whatever. We hope these three tips have gotten you into a winning mental space. The upcoming months will be full of ups and downs. Our advice is to take it day by day and maintain your momentum!
